Installation Planning
Refer to the technical drawings and installation manual before preparing the foundation. Coordinate the mounting box's position, orientation, and installation depth with the selected shower model, water supply connections, and finished surface level.
The installing contractor is responsible for determining the appropriate concrete foundation dimensions, reinforcement, and anchoring requirements based on site conditions and applicable local codes, with input from a qualified design professional where required. The contractor must also provide suitable drainage to prevent water accumulation inside or around the mounting box. The mounting box dimensions describe the component only and do not specify the required foundation size.
For seasonal removal, follow the manufacturer's disconnection and winterization instructions. Removing the shower column does not by itself winterize the remaining plumbing or mounting box connections.
